On March 4, 2021, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha received the Executive Committee of the Viet Nam Youth and Student Association in Osaka (VYSA Osaka).
At the meeting, Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha expressed his pleasure to meet VYSA members, the talented future generation of Viet Nam.
On behalf of VYSA Osaka, Chairman Ngo Minh Quan reported on their achievements in 2020 and plans for 2021. In addition to the regular activities, the Association planned to organize 03 major events including: (i) VYSA Osaka Job Fair 2021 for students in Kansai region (Q2/2021); (ii) Kansai Universities and Colleges Fair (Q3/2021); and (iii) VYSA Osaka Festival (late 2021).
Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha commended the Association’s proposals and recommendations. He also affirmed the Consulate General’s support for the proposed activities and suggested that the Association would discuss in detail with relevant offices of the Consulate General. At the same time, he asked the Association to make a list of Vietnamese students in the Kansai region, understand the needs and wishes of the Association members, and together overcome the difficulties and challenges caused by COVID-19. The Association should also take the initiative in reaching out to other Kansai regional associations and organizations.
Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha affirmed that the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Osaka would continue to offer students assistance in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic and support the Association's future activities../.
