On March 11, 2021, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly.
At the meeting, Chairman Doi Tatsuya, Vice Chairman Shikata Matsuo, and Assembly members expressed their great pleasure to welcome Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha. Both sides cordially exchanged their views on the Viet Nam-Osaka ties, joint activities and ways forward in the coming time. Mr. Doi Tatsuya also invited Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha to join a talk about Viet Nam at the Osaka Prefectural Assembly and looked forward to the support of the Consulate General of Viet Nam in arranging the Osaka-Viet Nam Parliamentarians Friendship Union’s visit to Viet Nam, scheduled for early 2022.
Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha stated that the Government and the Consulate General of Viet Nam greatly appreciated the role and contribution of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly, especially the Parliamentarians Friendship Union, to the relations between Osaka Prefecture and Vietnamese localities. He also affirmed that he would make all efforts to further strengthen the Viet Nam-Osaka relations, especially in the fields of investment, trade, tourism, and people-to-people exchange.../.
