On March 19, 2021, Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha paid a courtesy call on Mr. Nishimura Teiichi, President of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association
Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha stated that the Vietnamese Government and the Consulate General in Japan greatly appreciated the significant contributions of the Japan - Viet Nam Friendship Association in Kansai to the establishment of the Consulate General, as well as its role in promoting the friendship and economic exchanges between Viet Nam and the Kansai region. The Consul General also affirmed his determination to further enhance the relationship between Viet Nam and the Kansai region in all areas, notably, investment, trade, tourism, human resource, and people-to-people exchange.
On behalf of Association, Mr. Nishimura Teiichi cordially welcomed Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha and expressed his wish to work with the Consulate General in further promoting relations between the Kansai region and Viet Nam in all aspects, and providing practical support to Vietnamese people affected by COVID-19./.
