On March 5, 2021, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha paid a courtesy call on Mr. Yamamoto Jota, Representative of the Government of Japan, Ambassador in charge of Kansai region.
This was Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha’s first diplomatic meeting since taking office as the Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka.
Ambassador Yamamoto Jota congratulated and welcomed Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha to the Kansai region. They had a cordial talk on the Viet Nam-Japan relations and agreed to work closely in promoting bilateral relations in general, and the Viet Nam – Kansai relations in particular.
Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha expressed his honor to be the Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka and affirmed that he would strive to further promote relations between Viet Nam and the Kansai region, especially in the fields of investment, trade, tourism and human resource. At the same time, he also informed Mr. Yamamoto Jota of the wishes of Vietnamese leaders and localities to strengthen the friendship and cooperation with Japan and particularly to promote cooperation with SMEs in the Kansai region./.
