On March 14, 2021, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka, Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha delivered his remarks at the Annual Review meeting of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association in Osaka. At the meeting, Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha stated that the Vietnamese Government and the Consulate General of Viet Nam in Osaka highly valued the meaningful contributions of all members of the Association to Viet Nam’s national liberation and the friendship between Viet Nam – Japan, particularly between Viet Nam and Osaka. He also suggested that the Consulate General and the Association would jointly implement concrete activities in order to enhance the cultural ties, friendship, and people-to-people exchange by various methods, taking into account the complex developments of COVID-19.
Members of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association in Osaka expressed their sincere appreciation for Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha’s interest in the activities of the Association. They informed him that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association had to postpone cultural exchanges between Japan and Viet Nam. However, in the meantime, the Association has offered help to Vietnamese students and trainees who met with difficulties due to COVID-19 through tangible actions../.
