On March 26, 2021, Consul General of Viet Nam in Osaka Nguyen Hong Ha met with the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Kansai. The Committee members reported on the recent activities of the Association and its branches.
Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha affirmed the great importance he attached to the affairs of the Vietnamese community in the Kansai region. The Executive Committee of the Association should have regular meetings, develop annual and quarterly action programs, set up branches, and identify the directions and programs suitable for each region, he said.
Association Chairwoman Ms. Nguyen Ngoc welcomed the Consul General’s suggestions. She said that the Association would soon be expanded to cities with large Vietnamese communities, starting with Sakai and Osaka City./.
