On April 24, 2021, Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha delivered his remarks at the online “Global Talent & Business Meetup”. Sponsored by the Project on Training and Employing Talents under the Asia Business Creation Platform of the Kansai Economic Federation and other co-sponsors, “Global Talent & Business Meetup” has been organized in both Japan and Viet Nam as an annual event since 2017, attracting numerous Japanese companies, organizations and Vietnamese universities.
In his remarks, Consul General Nguyen Hong Ha gave an overview of the Viet Nam - Japan relations, in which he emphasized the importance and potential of cooperation in education and human resources. He spoke of Viet Nam’s young labor force and abundant human resources, of which about 80,000 students and 230,000 professional interns are living and working in Japan. They are highly-skilled, well-trained and have a positive work attitude.
Mr. Ha also praised the Organizing Committee and sponsors for holding such a meaningful event. He hoped that similar events would be held and replicated in suitable formats given the COVID pandemic, so as to bolster the people-to-people exchange and human resource cooperation between Japan and Viet Nam. Consul General Ha affirmed his support for the Organizing Committee in future activities.
